FOR ADOPTION NONE AT THIS TIME
|
Dear Donna,
I'm so sorry it took me so long to send you these photos. Harley is doing great and has almost
completely adjusted. She now knows where she lives when we go on pee walks and when we
go on longer walks she is still a bit disoriented and frightened by trees, fences, planes, shadows
and so many more sounds. The shadow game is her favorite one right now, very much more
favorable to toys. She stands and hops trying to catch her shadow, the plans shadow, my
shadow and any other shadow she can find. Its the funniest on cloudy days, when the sun
comes in and out. She gets really excited to see the sun come out and cast any shadow.
The photos I have attached are from today when I got home from a shoot and she had destroyed
another sea creature! This time it was a yellow crab that she ripped on her time alone. Yo can
see what she did with all the stuffing in it! Last weeks she took care of her red lobster! I have
one more toy for her, which is a purple octopus.
About her training. She proudly finished 2 weeks at Morgan's dogs where she learned to sit, heel,
lay down and stay. It was over the 4th of July weekend and so she was trained on the mean
streets of Chicago where every 5 seconds there was a firework explosion. Lets just say that she
in no longer afraid of street noise!
Last thing: we went to the vet yesterday where she threatened every dog that came in and out,
but licked the vets face off and got a bunch of cookies for an award. The vet said that she is a
beautiful dog, healthy and should not gain any more weight! She is eating the raw food about
twice a week and the same brand dry food the other times...its just so expensive and she is
such a messy eater.
Oh, yes, she loves to be brushed.
Thank you for everything and for the most wonderful companion a woman could have!
Love,
Marla
