SOME LETTERS & PICTURES FROM THE PUPS
Hi Grandma,
I wanted to let you know the day I had today. I first went for a long car ride to Brenda's house and had lunch. Wow is she a nice lady!
My Mom only brought me ground beef to eat. How boring is that? Brenda gave me a little ground rabbit. I love it! My mom picked me up
some Probiotic, Daily Blend, Green Blend Zyme and Salmon Oil so I can grow up big and strong. Brenda thinks I'm a very handsome
boy and told my Mom I need to be in the show ring. Since I a new puppy Brenda gave me some beef heart, duck necks and even some
llama! I'm now the best fed in my new house.
I had the duck necks for dinner. They were wonderful. My Mom says I need to work on my table manors. I dragged my dinner all over
the kitchen floor and when Mon picked me and my necks up I growled at her. I didn't mean to, I'm just used to growling at my brothers
and sisters. I promise I work on that.
After eating all those necks I need a nap. Please kiss everyone for me.
Miss You,
T-Bone
Donna,
Wanted to take a moment to acknowledge what a wonderful job you did with Bear. I found it very warming to see a dog that had been
so neglected and abused. To be able to become the gentle loving animal that he was put here to be. Your passion or love for what you
do really is inspiring. We are working with Bruno/Rocky haven't figured it out yet. He really is a fluffy or peaches. He listens very well
and is very sweet. Our only regret is that we didn't think far enough ahead to see if getting a sister was possible. It truly has been a
pleasure going through this process and working with you. I can assure you that your little one will be treated with tons of love and we
will forward pictures of him. My family is my life and I am honored to have adopted one of your little ones. Keep up the good "heart"
work you are doing an outstanding job. It must be very gratifying to be making the difference for not only the dogs you rescue but for
the people you help in the process,
With the best wishes for you and your family,
Steven

Grandma, TJ ABOVE AT 12 WEEKS
Got home safe and sound, don't remember much of the trip, I slept the whole time.
Got to meet my roommates, Dakota and Cheyenne, Cheyenne doesn't like dogs at all so she is hiding in her room, to bad for her I am a
lot of fun. Dakota was a little more sociable at least for a little while, she actually sat with us for a little bit, realized I wasn't a cat and off
she goes. I will keep working on winning them over. Until then I found another just like me in a mirror and we play all the time.
Woke mom and dad up about two with my very special howl. But went back to sleep after a trip to go potty outside. Mom got up at 5
and gave me breakfast. Got the hiccups I ate so fast, forgot I don't have to share my food anymore.
I am being a good boy Grandma, only one accident in the house so far, I will make you proud of me you will see.
Later, time to go play
TJ
Hi Donna
Aaliyah is incredible! She knows to go outside to pee and poop. Though she had an accident in the house, she had it trying to go
out, I just didn't catch the signal fast enough, so my bad. But she is amazing.
She follows me everywhere. She loves to play in the water. She loves to eat. She is so intelligent and attentive and beautiful, and I am
just in love with her. Last night she woke me up to take her out, (apparently I set my alarm too late for her needs), but she let me know
before she needed to go. Amazing!
She is adjusting well and is starting to have her wild play moments which make me laugh. Oh yes...everytime I took her in the yard
she would pull at something in the ground and end up with a shelled peanut in her mouth. I kept wondering how so many peanuts
ended up in the yard. This morning I figured it out. The squirrels apparently go and bury their peanuts. She sniffs the spots, and
pulls them out! Too funny!
I have started taking photos and will send you some on Monday. I just wanted you to be at ease that she is doing wonderfully.
Much love from Aaliyah and myself

Dear Donna Aaliyah ABOVE AT 12 WEEKS
Again I want to thank you for this wonderful experience of adopting one of your puppies. The entire experience was a perfect balance
of professionalism, yet full of affection for the dogs and the breed. It is obvious that you are knowledgable about what is best for your
dogs and the continuation of the breed in a way that shows true respect and esteem for the animals you love. It is also obvious that it
is not just about the money for you. It is clear that you put your heart and soul into these dogs and would never sacrifice what is best
for them for profit.
All this comes through every time I look at Aaliyah, and I want to thank you and let you know my appreciation for the work that you do.
Aaliyah is wonderful! She is very consistent about her approach to everything. In a new setting where she is unsure, she is not timid,
but she is cautious, yet she trusts to be led and our bond grows deeper each day.
She is clear about letting me know she wants to go outside. She is kind, and sweet, and at times a little nuts in a fun way. She has
already learned "sit". She is doing very well with the leash, though we only walk in the yard :o)
Though I have only had her a few days, I would not trade her for anything in the world.
She is eating well, and she seems to like everything except cottage cheese :o)
She now wakes me up just once through the night to go out, our consistent routine is paying off.
She loves car rides, hugs, playing in the yard, tennis balls, tummy rubs, tug of war, fetch, and splashing in water or rolling on the wet
lawn, though she seemed less than thrilled when I put her in the tub for a bath :o)
So I am sending you some photos. I will send more, we jsut had a few rainy days and we didn't get a chance to take them yet.
She sends you a big hug, and also one to her mom and dad.
Much love
Anna and Aaliyah

Hey Donna,
Here are some pictures of Zoe Justice Arends Von Neuroth. ZOE ABOVE AT 12 WEEKS
Enjoy
Hi Donna,
We are so thrilled with Takata, she has exceeded all expectations. Her nick name is The Jaw. Our German Shepard, Zoë has adopted
her as well as our four cats. We will send pictures soon. We are using the Nature’s Variety raw diet and lots of RMB.
Best Regards,
Bill & Susan
Hi Donna, TAKATA PICTURED ABOVE
We finally figured out how to e-mail pictures of Takata. She is growing like a weed and has taken over. Zoë & cats are surviving,
though they may have a different story. lol
Thanks again for the awesome puppy.
Best Regards,
Bill & Susan

Hi again Donna
Here is Aaliyah just yesterday while playing with Fiona, my brother's Labrador.
Anyway, Fiona is ever so patient and gentle with Aaliyah and it is always wonderful to see them play, and splash around Aaliyah's
baby pool. Aaliyah also has a Boxer friend that belongs to my best friend, apart from the many new friends she is making at puppy
class.
She picks up new things every day and is the joy and light of my life.
I hope you like the photos, although it is hard to get clear ones with all the movement!
Well that's it on our end. We take frequent trips to PETCO and Home Depot (as we have some home projects going). Two days a
week I teach at the grooming school and she comes with me so she is very socialized with car trips, people, and dogs. As soon as
the house projects are done we will be taking an afternoon trip to the beach :o)
(too hot during the day).
These are just some of the activities we enjoy on a regular basis.
Hope all is well with you.
Hugs from both of us to all of you.
Anna and Aaliyah

Hey Donna,
Zoe is doing great, got her second set of vaccinations today. Everyone at the vets office thinks she is just the cutest thing ever,
which of course she is. She has learned basic commands such as sit, stay, come, drop and the leash training is going wonderful.
To date, she weighs 19.2 lbs. Attached are some pictures taken today.
Talk to you soon,
Kurt and Deanna

Hi Donna,
Here are some new photos of Takata. 18 weeks old,
30lbs and 31 inches
from
nose to tail. She's had all of her shots and a clean bill of
health from the last vet visit.
Takata is smart, obedient and loyal, hands down the best
puppy we've ever owned.
Thanks you so much Donna, for the opportunity to own
such a special dog.

AUGUST 28, 2006
Hi Donna
How are you doing?
Sorry it has taken a while for me to write, and I owe you photos soon. I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how Aaliyah
is doing.
Well, she is huge. I forgot how fast they grow :o( She is all legs, but she is gorgeous as always.
Would you believe she has not really destroyed anything in the house? She only got a bit of a chair leg, but her attention was
easily diverted from it. She actually does not even take our shoes, though we don't leave them out unsupervised....we do leave
them out when she is around and she knows our stuff from hers and she does not seem to test that boundary. Oh...except
socks. Socks are fun to try to grab and run off with :o)
Well it's no biggie. I found a nice puppy play group to enroll her in on the weekends.
She is completely crate trained. Our biggest challenge has been "heal" but with the help of my dog trainer friend, Dennis, (one
of my references), we used a clicker and lots of treats it is now resolved. She is also completely crate trained and housebroken
(which she has practically been all along, but it is now very reliable...no accidents in over a month)
She is truly amazing. She is smart, athletic, attentive, kind, adorable, beautiful and very funny. This has been the easiest dog I
have ever trained and worked with. We are very bonded and she is my best friend. We go almost everywhere together.
So as you can see she is doing exceptionally well, she is loved by all who meet her.
I hope your guys are doing great too.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Much love
Anna and Aaliyah

Dear Grandma,
I just reminded my Mom that she has not sent any pictures since I left all of you. She takes
pictures of me all of the time but she just found out how to be able to put them on the
computer. Sometimes she's a little slow with those things.
I have changed so much since I last saw you. My tong doesn't hang out anymore. I'm up to
85 pounds now and eating everything I'm fed. I really don't like lamb or fish much but after
my Mom tells me to "get my nose back in my bowl" I do finish. The Vet told my Mom I'm
perfect. I really like to go and have my nails done. Everyone there just loves when I come
to see them cause I'm such a good dog.
I have squirrels living in a tree by my house. I'm not sure what to do with them so I just sit
on the deck and quietly watch them. I love to sit on the deck when it rains and now what we
have snow, I never want to come in the house. Every morning I go into my Mom's bedroom
and put my head on the bed and start to whine until she gets up. She works at home
sometimes and I never leave her side when we are home together. I know I have to sit on
my rug until my feet are dry and don't eat until I'm told to "take it".
As you can see in one of the pictures "My Boy" has joined the Army. I know my family is
really proud but I sure miss him. We would play everyday and I would sit on his lap when he
got on the computer and we would play games together.
In another of the pictures you can see me with "My Girl". Every time she leaves the house I
will sit by the door until she comes home. "My Girl" had a big party and over 30 people
came to our house. Everyone who was here just fell in love with me. I got to have a huge
knuckle bone at the party. No one believed that I could have such a big bone and be sooo
good with all of those people here. My Mom and My Girl tease each other about who I love
better. Don't tell them but I love both of them so much.
My Mom tells me all of the time that when she had to put her last dog down she didn't think
she could love another dog. Now she knows that is not true. Her heart is really full again.
She tells me that she thanks her children all of the time for finding you and putting down
the deposit for her Christmas present last year. We talk about what perfect parents I have
and how she thinks I look like my Dad. She let me know what good care you took of me
when I was little and she thanks you so very much.
I want to wish all of my Fur Family a wonderful Christmas and a happy & healthy New Year,
Love Always,
T-Bone
T-BONE CAME INTO THIS WORLD WEIGHTING ONLY 5 OZ

Merry Christmas from Zoe, Kurt and Deanna.
Donna,
TJ wants to wish his dad a happy woofday. As you can see from the picture he is the spitting image of his dad. He now weighs in at over 90
pounds and has passed his first obedience class. His new roommate Liberty will go through the first class's in January and then they will
both progress to the next level in March.
Best Wishes to you and all of your family, two and four footed.

Hi Donna,
Thanks you for the nice card. Our Grand kids loved it too. Takata is
doing great! We are so amazed at her temperament. It's hard to
believe she's already eight months old. Here's a picture of her
experiencing her first snow.
Happy Holidays,
Bill & Susan

Dear Donna
I wanted to send you the most recent photos of my best friend!
She's breathtaking isn't she?
I also wanted to ask you a quick question....Aaliyah really really seems to love the agility obstacles, so I wanted to ask you when you think it is
safe to begin her in an agility class. As of now I let her do just tunnels, small teeter totters and one or two small jumps after her training class,
but she is really really eager to do more. I was told by the training facility that it is safe around 1 year of age, but I know they still grow for at least
another year, so I wanted your opinion. I'm getting her a tunnel and teeter totter to practice on in the yard here.
She is just so eager to work and do more that I'm trying to keep her busy with activities. Obedience is great fun and we will test for the CGC just
as soon as she is a bit older. But I think she wants something a bit more active and challenging, and her inclinations seem to lie in agility and
scent work (we work on that at home because I can't find someone to teach me more, so I am improvising, but she loves the "find it" game!).
Anyway, all is wonderful with Aaliyah...she is a very happy dog and very loved!
Lots of love
Anna & Aaliyah
Hi Donna
Thanks for the advice. Aaliyah will be happy to hear the good news.
She has started doing a small obstacle course (tunnel, small teeter, a-frame, slide and a couple of small jumps) off leash. She is definitely a
working dog and I make sure to keep her stimulated. She has not chewed or destroyed a single thing and anyone who has or has ever had a
dog is just amazed at this. This makes me feel I have provided well on my end and with her excellent disposition, it has been a winning
combination. Most important we have a lot of fun together every day.
We'll keep you posted of her activities and progress and keep sending photos.
Hugs to your guys!
Love
Anna & Aaliyah

Donna,
Here is the latest picture of T-Bone. I can't believe
that he is a year old already. The time has just
flown by so quickly. For a puppy of started his life
at 5 oz and after a year he's now 105! He is the
typical Rott cause it always all about him. He is
playful, loving and always makes us laugh.
My daughter has joined the Army and is leaving
today for boot camp today. I'm now a double Army
Mom. She told me this morning that the thing she
will miss the most is for course T-Bone.
A very Happy Birthday to all of my Fur Family,
Jody and T-Bone

Hi Donna:
I just wanted to send you a 1 year picture of Junior. He's
about 100lbs. now and still growing leaps and bounds.
For his birthday we gave him a beef bone to chew on and
he's loving every minute of it.
In this past year PJ has taken him to a few sessions of
dog school, and he's enjoyed going to our lake house
with us, he's quite the sailor he loves going on our boat,
but we haven't gotten him to go in the water yet. Not a
big fan of getting wet. He has lots of companions to
keep him company and play with, my sisters cocker
spaniel, my mom's golden retriever, our neighbors lab
and sheep dog, and our 2 cats.
Junior has the best sweetest personality of all our dogs.
He loves being with the kids and sometimes I think my
husband get jealous because he will follow me through
the house wherever I go. If I'm running on the treadmill
or on the computer Junior is right next to me. He will
even gladly take the spot next to me in bed. He is quite
the dog.
Did you get the picture I sent you from Christmas? My
computer wasn't working then and I had to mail it to you.
Well I hope things are going well for everyone and all the
dogs.
Talk to you soon.
Lisa Wzientek
Thank you for the birthday wishes! I had a wonderful birthday, getting lots of cool treats, a nice big marrow
bone and a trip to the pet store so I could choose my toy myself!
Lots of love
Aaliyah
Hey Donna,
Zoe wants to thank you and her parents
for the birthday wishes. She had a great
day! We made her a doggie cake and
she had some ice cream (Frosty Paws).
One of the pictures shows one of her
presents. She is such a beautiful girl!!
To date she weighs about 80 pounds.
Kurt and Deanna
Donna,
I guess you are, you are expecting two litters at
the same time! Wow, can't imagine how busy you
will be in about six weeks.
TJ is doing very well. Still gets the hiccups once
and a while so that I know he is still growing.
Would love to bring him to visit, but I know that is
probably out of the question.
I am attaching the latest picture of him taken with
Liberty .
Love to the "pack" and family from mine.

HI DONNA:
WE JUST WANTED TO SEND YOU A NOTE AND WISH YOU GUYS A MERRY
CHRISTMAS, AND SEND ALONG A PICTURE OF JUNIOR SO YOU CAN SEE HOW HE
HAS GROWN.
LET ME TELL YOU HOW HAPPY WE ARE WITH JUNIOR. AS WE TALKED ABOUT IN
THE PAST WE HAVE OWNED ROTTS BEFORE AND HE IS BY FAR THE BEST OF
THEM ALL. THEY WERE ALL GOOD BUT JUNIOR, WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT JUNIOR
OTHER THAN HE IS PERFECT. AND IF I COULD TALK PJ INTO HAVING 2 IN THE
HOUSE YOU WOULD HAVE MY DEPOSIT FOR ANOTHER ONE.
JUNIOR IS JUST HAPPY TO BE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH ANY ONE OF US. HE STILL
REALLY ENJOYS BOATING, HE IS STILL QUITE THE SAILOR. NOW SWIMMING IS
ANOTHER THING, NOT VERY FOND OF THE WATER. WOULD RATHER RIDE IN A
BOAT AND LOOK AT RATHER THAN PHYSICALLY GET INTO THE WATER. NO
MATTER HOW HARD PJ TRIES JUNIOR WILL NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH
GOING INTO THE WATER.
I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON!!
THE WZIENTEK FAMILY

Good Morning Donna,
I’ve been meaning to send you a recent photo of Takata;
I finally talked her into posing for you .lol As you can
see she is beautiful and really doing well. I can’t begin
to tell you how many complements we receive about
her. She now has 6 grand kids from age 1year to 7. She
loves kids, people cats and just about everything else.
We continue to feed her a strict raw diet and totally
understand why you are so adamant about it; she’s
been healthy with zero trips to the vet for illness or
injury.
Please let us know when you’re expecting again, we
would love to add another family member.
Best Regards,
Bill Allegro
Donna,
