DIESEL
BEAR
Donna,
I am the grandmother of a Rottie named Bear. Alex and Lindsey have Bear and I have found myself taking care of
Bear quite often.
When we came to Lake Villa to pick up Bear, I was so impressed when you let your adult Rotties out to meet us. I
have never seen a better behaved group of dogs in my life. Your love and excellent breeding shines through every
adult dog.
Thank you again. LaVerne Collinge

Hi,
I am so happy with Diesel. He has all of his "big boy" hair now as we call it and it's
nice and wavy. Still has all of his baby teeth but we are waiting patiently for those.
Diesel has now graduated from three puppy classes and will begin Level one
classes on Monday. He loves to learn and offers behaviors all the time just to get
attention. We have been walking him twice daily and he loves to play with Carter in
the back yard nonstop. Diesel has figured out that if he grabs Carters tail, Carter will
play with him. It's funny to watch them play. Diesel also loves going to the dog park
and meeting all the people there. He watches the other dogs play and will sniff and
say hi to them, but the people give him the attention he wants, which is good. I will
attach some older pics and also some more recent pics of the D-man, they may come
out smaller because they were taken with a camera phone (sorry).

Hey Donna-- i got all of your email's this morning!! Bear
is doing great. He misses all of you. I have a couple of
questions--- i went on the natures variety website and i
could not find the amount to feed him. I put in all of the
information that you told me but it is coming up as 1
medallion. Am i doing something wrong??? I just
wanted to know for future reference for when i
weighed him next.. Bear sends hugs and kisses..
Thank you sooo much Lindsey

Diesel is doing great in level one class. John is mainly working him in
that class. D-man is the star puppy in class, I think. The trainer keeps
using him as a demo dog, which makes me proud. In class last week
we got to play in the puppy agility equipment, and Diesel was fearless.
He loved the puppy dog walk and the very low jumps, but his favorite
by far was the tunnels. He would go through them get his treat from us
and turn around and go back through and wait for us at the other end
for his treat and turn right around again. I am thinking I will have to get
out Carters tunnel and weave poles to work with before it snows.
Conformation class is also going good. He has a hard time staying
focused on standing still. he keeps wagging his nub and his whole butt
moves and by then he is having a great time moving around! I just have
to laugh, training is supposed to be fun right? D-man thinks so! Diesel
has most of his big dog teeth, I actually found a tooth on the floor the
other day! He still needs his canines to come in.
He is a great puppy, I have to thank you again.

p.s. The pictures will be small again, taking with the camera phones.

Donna,
I just wanted to send you some updated photos of Diesel. He
is doing great I am thinking of starting him in conformation in
the next month. I have gotten quite a few compliments on
him lately! He is one beautiful boy!
By the way what happened to Brando, I saw that you lost
him on your website. My sympathies.

I thought I would write and let you know about Diesel's fist show. We
are entered in Conformation and Rally novice. We are going to be
showing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will let you know and send
updated pictures afterwards!

Diesel did great his first show weekend. He got first 6-9 month
puppy each day, and was looked at twice for best dog on
Saturday. He didn't to well in Rally Novice because it was back
to back with conformation and we couldn't get the mind set we
needed to do well in Rally, but we have many more Rally trials
to do good at. I am planning on showing him again in Des
Moines IA show in February. Attached are some resent pictures
some from the show!

HI Donna,
Diesel has his Rally Novice title!
We had a show the last
weekend of February we
qualified both days, and we had
a show this past weekend and
qualified on Saturday! Rally
novice by 9 months, I am so
proud and happy with my little
guy!
I am also attaching some
updated pictures of him. I am in
love with his head, I can't tell
you how many compliments i
get on his beautiful head and
great conformation. I also love
getting compliments on his
great temperament and
outgoing personality, we love
attention and being goofy!
Thank you so much for my
handsome man!

Hi Donna,
Diesel is doing great I finally neutered him
after much thought about his future. We are
working on our Rally Advanced and CD. We
have lots of shows coming up at the end of
this summer. He is still a goofy and outgoing
boy! He still loves his Shepherd brother
Carter and his kitties. We are taking private
agility classes and hoping to start competing
next summer he loves it.
The pictures of him were taken after his
1ST birthday, one is of him and Carter at lake
superior, after playing in the back yard, one
of his big head and one of him running with
the bike.
Thanks again for my loving boy,
Laska and Diesel
